Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you book an appointment or buy a bundle. Booking means you agree to them.
Who I am
Clarkston Acupuncture Clinic is run by Clarkston Acupuncture Clinic Ltd, registered in Scotland, company number SC781162. Registered office: 492 Clarkston Road, Glasgow G44 3QE. Email: info@clarkstonacupunctureclinic.co.uk.
I hold professional indemnity insurance with Balens, which covers my work at the clinic in the UK.
Booking and payment
- You pay in full by card when you book online.
- Prices are shown on the prices page. If prices change, it won’t affect appointments or bundles you’ve already paid for.
- Your booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email.
Changing or cancelling
- You can move your appointment to another time up to 4 hours before, using the link in your confirmation email or in My bookings.
- You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment, in the same way. I’ll refund you in full, and it usually takes 5 to 10 working days to reach your account.
- If you’d rather, you can reply to your booking email instead.
- With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you don’t come, the session may be charged.
- If you’re unwell, let me know as soon as you can. I’m always flexible about illness.
- If I have to cancel, I’ll offer you another time or a full refund.
- If you arrive late, your session may need to be shorter so the next person isn’t kept waiting. The full price still applies.
Bundles
- Use your bundle sessions within 12 months of buying them.
- Bundles are for you only and can’t be passed on to someone else.
- You can get a refund for any sessions you haven’t used. If you ask less than 24 hours before your next booked session, that session is charged.
Your right to cancel within 14 days
When you book or buy online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days for a full refund. If you book an appointment within those 14 days, you’re asking me to start the service during that time. If you then cancel, I’ll refund what you’ve paid, less the cost of any sessions you’ve already had.
Your health
- Please tell me about any health conditions and medicines, and if you’re pregnant or have a pacemaker. I’ll ask about these at your first appointment.
- I may decide not to treat you, or stop a treatment, if I don’t think it’s safe or suitable.
- Treatment at the clinic works alongside the care you get from your GP and other doctors. It doesn’t replace it.
- Everyone responds differently, so I can’t guarantee results.
Free calls
The free 15-minute call is a chance to ask questions about treatment at the clinic. It isn’t a medical consultation, and I won’t give medical advice during it.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can’t be limited by law. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with anything, please email info@clarkstonacupunctureclinic.co.uk. I’ll reply within 5 working days and do my best to put it right.
The law
These terms are governed by Scots law, and any dispute will be dealt with by the Scottish courts.
